Animes!
How did I go so long without watching anime in my life? Recently, recommended by a friend, I decided to watch The Apothecary Diaries and completely got hooked on anime. It’s not like I had never watched any before, but I used to focus much more on movies than series. Some of the anime I’ve seen are Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), Castlevania, Dragon Ball Z… but the most recent ones I’ve watched made me fall in love! The Apothecary Diaries is SO GOOD, but I completely adored Frieren. I found it so poetic how the main character, who is almost immortal, faces the death of her human friends and the passage of time (I get emotional just thinking about it).
Right now I’m watching the second season of Made in Abyss. Unfortunately, I started this season without knowing there was a mandatory movie between the first and second seasons. I could hardly find the movie available in my country (actually, I couldn’t find it at all! All the legal platforms to watch the anime don’t work here). So I had to watch it on something called TokyVideo and THANK HEAVENS it had Portuguese subtitles. P.S.: that episode with Mitty literally made me cry.
Anyway, if you have any anime recommendations along the lines of girls as protagonists, adventures, and something a bit poetic, leave them in the guestbook. I’ll definitely watch them!
P.S. 2: One small note... I’m going to start writing in more modern English (translated from Portuguese), since some people said they had trouble reading my more “fancy” texts.
