Coming back better
I am positively delighted to be writing here once more. At long last, I have come to grasp the workings of this Bear Blog.
Good heavens, how perplexing it is to comprehend code! Could it be my advancing years? (I have crossed the threshold of thirty.) Or perhaps the burden of countless other matters? I cannot say for certain, yet this year, I embarked upon a course in JavaScript and Pixel Art on Udemy. Alas, these pursuits have lain somewhat neglected, but I fully intend to return to them in due course.
My present ambition is to transform the homepage of my website into a Grid. However, I have yet to discern how to arrange everything in its proper place. The current layout makes it most troublesome to introduce new elements without disturbing the existing order.
On another note, I have, at last, adjusted to ceasing my medication. For one who once relied upon four prescriptions solely for mental well-being, reducing them to but a single one is no small triumph! I now find myself able to slumber peacefully without aid and awaken feeling truly restored. My psychiatrist has even assured me that I may begin to wean off this final dose, though, given its rather dreadful withdrawal effects, I have requested that we commence this process only in May, when my research is on firmer ground.
And speaking of research, I have entirely altered the course of my doctoral thesis! Henceforth, my focus shall be upon bioactive compounds and their effects on health—an utter departure from my prior study of congenital heart diseases.
Such is the latest of my affairs. Until we meet again! :)
