Justifying my absence

This week has been tough. I stopped taking my anxiety medication (which also helped me sleep) because I’m in the process of tapering off. I spend the entire day feeling drowsy and moody, even though I can sleep at night. I simply can’t get anything done besides working out at my apartment gym. I spend the day watching The Office and have no energy for anything else.

Today (Saturday), I mustered the courage to write this post, especially because I want to make my website a habit to maintain in 2025. Despite my struggles with mental health, I’ve managed to stick to other goals I set for this month: no sugar, no fast food, and no shopping. I believe cutting out sugar was the best thing I could do for myself—besides reducing bloating, I’ve started to realize how addicted to sugar I was. I’m thinking about continuing this throughout 2025, but I know there will be birthdays where I’ll eat cake, haha.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a quick update here.
